Martha Vance Sims was born in Laurel, Ms. but grew up in Hattiesburg. She spent much of her spare time in Laurel at her family's well-known restaurant-Fifth Avenue Grill. Martha later opened Vance Cinema Rentals at that same location, and it operated until 2004. In 2001 she received her real estate license.
Martha is very active in her local Board of Realtors, serving twice as President. In addition, she has served on the local Board of Directors. She has served on numerous real estate committees at both the local and state levels, including the Mississippi State Board of Directors.
She has been a consistent multi-million dollar producer and in 2007 she received the Century 21 Ruby Award. Martha is a charter member of Southern Civitan, DAR and Chapter 2 PED. She is active with numerous community service projects throughout the year with the Laurel Board of Realtors and her civic clubs.
Martha is married to Larry Sims. They have 3 daughters and 2 sons. Their greatest joy is their grandson and their 3 granddaughters. Martha's hobbies are spending time with her family, kayaking, and riding 4-wheelers with her grand children. She is excited to have joined the Laurel Hometown Realty team and invites all her friends and former clients to call her for all their Real Estate needs.
